LEARN TO SAY NO
In our professional and personal lives, we regularly find ourselves saying YES, even when internally we would like to say NO. Repeated and accumulated, these situations can quickly become energy-draining and time-consuming. Rather than enduring these difficulties, it is time to confront them and assert ourselves, in order to maintain a positive team dynamic.
Context
Your manager regularly approaches you just as you are about to leave, a colleague once again asks for your help on a project they don’t have time to finish on time, or there’s that client who never pays on time and asks you for an extension once again.
In each of these situations, and the many others that exist, you believe you have no choice. You respond positively, yet alternatives exist. What are the reasons that so regularly compel you to accept? This training allows you to find answers to this question.
This is the beginning of an awareness that will gradually allow you to change your approach. Knowing how to say NO is saying YES to yourself, it is preserving your mental health, and it is keeping the organization’s staff fulfilled and high-performing.
